Tassneem Sabry
Energy & Economic Policy Advisor
I am Tassneem Sabry, an energy sector advisor and climate policy specialist with an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from University College London. I work across MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, and other low and middle income countries, focusing on utility performance, low carbon energy systems, climate finance, and the geopolitics of decarbonisation. I have hands on experience supporting governments and multilaterals such as the World Bank, UK FCDO, and British High Commissions.
Through advisory work and research, I have seen first hand how energy systems, policy choices, and financing structures directly shape livelihoods, equity, and climate outcomes. Communicating these complex topics clearly and accessibly has been central to my work, whether through policy briefs, sustainability reports, or speaking at global forums such as COP 27 and the Bonn Climate Conference.
As a content creator, I aim to translate green economics and climate policy into practical and engaging narratives that resonate with young people and decision makers alike. My goal is to make sustainability, just transitions, and climate smart investment feel relevant, actionable, and embedded in everyday life, turning ideas into impact.
