Erasmus+ Career Boosters

Project Reference: 2025-1-PL01-KA151-YOU-000289180

Career Boosters was an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to support young people in strengthening their employability, personal skills and confidence while preparing for their future educational and professional paths.

The project responded to the challenges many young people experience while entering adulthood: choosing an educational direction, preparing for the labour market, gaining their first work experience, becoming more independent and developing confidence in professional and personal situations. At the same time, rapid technological change, globalisation and changing labour-market expectations increasingly require young people to be adaptable, communicative, creative and able to solve problems.

Preparing young people for their future

Career Boosters created an international learning environment where participants could better understand their own strengths while developing practical competences that can be applied in education, employment and everyday life.

Through non-formal education, participants worked on self-awareness, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative and self-presentation. The project encouraged young people to take more conscious ownership of their future and approach the transition into the labour market with greater confidence.

Main objectives

The project focused on:

  • Strengthening young people’s employability and career readiness
  • Developing communication and teamwork skills
  • Improving self-awareness and self-presentation
  • Building confidence in personal and professional situations
  • Developing problem-solving, initiative and adaptability
  • Supporting young people in making more conscious choices about their future
  • Encouraging active participation in professional and social life

Learning by doing

The project used non-formal education as its main learning approach. Instead of focusing only on theoretical knowledge, participants learned through workshops, simulation games, discussions and collaborative activities.

These methods created opportunities to practise social competences, explore cultural differences and develop skills that participants can use beyond the Youth Exchange.

By combining career development, personal growth, non-formal education and intercultural exchange, the project provided young Europeans with practical tools and experiences that can support them as they take their next steps in education, employment and life.
